MUSIC MATTERS
Music is a powerful part of a complete education. It sparks creativity in the minds of children and teaches them valuable teamwork and problem solving skills. Yet today, many schools across Chicago lack the resources to provide music education. With your support Ravinia can change that. Over the last 23 years, this annual benefit has raised over $2.5 million for Ravinia Festival and its REACH*TEACH*PLAY education programs.

Through her foundation, Dolores has helped develop numerous education and arts programs, including the Kohl Children’s Museum; StoryBus: Children’s Museum on Wheels, which focuses on early childhood literacy; Kohl Teachers’ Centers in Illinois and Israel; and a number of significant teaching awards.
